Read it for yourselves..........

This is my first blog and it took an awful lot to get me off the couch.

I am a disabled construction worker who was a Democrat for 30 years and in 2004 I changed to Republican. I hadn't voted for a Dem in about 25 years anyway and couldn't take the shananigans and dirty tricks of the party that I was brought up with.

I went on Medicare in April of this year and chose an Advantage plan that was $350 cheaper than COBRA plus it has better coverage, cheaper doctor visits and prescriptions. It has a free gym membership that I use for physical therapy.

I saw a tape of President Obama saying that the Advantage plans were a waste of money and I saw an interview (I believe on Cavuto) that had an AARP spokesman saying that the blanket coverage would be good for all its members. He said they would not endorse a plan that would take away Medicare benefits.

What is taking away the Advantage plans then?  How can he make the president take it back if they are wrong on this?

Then I remembered when President Bush got the Medicare prescription plan through, AARP was for it before they all of a sudden were against it.

I think there is a lot of mutual back rubbing going on.

I went on the AARP website to see what they had to say about it and I came up with a lot of comments about how people are getting angry at this.

I wrote a comment there saying approximately what I said above.

Check it out for yourselves to see the comments from several people.

Now I suppose I will be ratted out to the Whitehouse for saying critical things but isn't this the American way?  Aren't we supposed to stand for our right to say what we think?

Americans are getting mad because we are being treated like fools and the elitists are dismissing us as well.

The great right wing conspiracy was a fabrication from the Clinton playbook and is being used again but the conspiracy is and has been the Dems in  lockstep all saying the same things at the same time. I just hope they don't do too much damage until we can vote them out of office in the comming elections.

The only other thing I can say is a play on words from the TV show 'Rawhide'.

Herd 'em up and vote 'em out.
